You can cancel your order without giving a reason within 30 days of certificate issuance by the certification authority (CA). If the certificate does not meet your needs for any reason, your payment will be refunded according to the following terms and conditions.
Terms and Conditions for Web SSL Certificates
- An SSL certificate can be canceled at any time during the CA validation process and within 30 days of its initial issuance. Reissuing the certificate does not restart this period.
- Order cancellation is only possible in writing using the authorized form in the Control Panel.
- For the unambiguous determination of the number of days, the day of cancellation is considered the first working day after receipt of the written cancellation.
- The SSL certificate is revoked after notification.
- The customer is obliged to immediately remove the issued SSL certificate from the server.
- In the event of an order cancellation, the customer will receive a refund minus a processing fee of at least 5 USD/EUR. This fee covers payment transaction costs and the administrative processing of the refund. If the actual transaction costs (e.g., credit card or PayPal payments) exceed 5 USD/EUR, the processing fee will be rounded up to the nearest multiple of 5 USD/EUR.
- Orders for SSL certificates that are not issued within 45 days of placing the order with the certification authority (CA) may be automatically canceled. A processing fee of at least 15 USD/EUR will be deducted from the refunded amount to cover the associated costs. If the certificate price is lower than the processing fee, the customer may request to reactivate the canceled order or transfer the amount paid to another certificate of the same type within one year of cancellation, at no additional charge.

- A Code Signing certificate can be canceled at any time during the CA validation process and within 30 days of its initial issuance. Reissuing the certificate does not restart this period.
- Order cancellation is only possible in writing using the authorized form in the Control Panel.
- For the unambiguous determination of the number of days, the day of cancellation is considered the first working day after receipt of the written cancellation.
- The CODE certificate is revoked after notification.
- In the event of an order cancellation, or if the certification authority (CA) declines to issue the certificate during the validation process, the customer will receive a refund minus a processing fee of at least 10 USD/EUR. This fee covers payment transaction costs and the administrative processing of the refund. If the actual transaction costs (e.g., credit card or PayPal payments), typically ranging from 3% to 5.5% of the payment amount, exceed 10 USD/EUR, the processing fee will be rounded up to the nearest multiple of 10 USD/EUR.
- Orders for Code Signing Certificates on a USB token - the refunded amount is reduced by the cost of shipping and the USB token. The USB token remains the property of the customer.
- If the customer fails to cooperate, respond to communications, or provide the required documents to complete the certificate validation process, the operator of the SSLmentor project reserves the right to cancel the order if the certificate has not been issued within 45 days of placing the order with the certification authority (CA). Any refund will be subject to a fixed processing fee of 25 USD/EUR, which will be deducted from the refunded amount.
- Orders suspected of fraud will be reviewed individually by our security team. The operator of the SSLmentor project reserves the right to charge the customer for actual costs incurred in investigating and handling such orders.

- An S/MIME certificate can be canceled at any time during the CA validation process and within 15 days of its initial issuance. Reissuing the certificate does not restart this period.
- Order cancellation is only possible in writing using the authorized form in the Control Panel.
- For the unambiguous determination of the number of days, the day of cancellation is considered the first working day after receipt of the written cancellation.
- The S/MIME certificate is revoked after notification.
- In the event of an order cancellation, or if the certification authority (CA) declines to issue the certificate during the validation process, the customer will receive a refund minus a processing fee of at least 10 USD/EUR. This fee covers payment transaction costs and the administrative processing of the refund.
